On Saturday, May 5, 2012 over 25 teachers and administrators gathered together at the Foundation office in the former Washington Elementary building to learn about the Seeds for Excellence grant program, get feedback on grant ideas from grant review committee members and network with past grant recipients. Those attending the half day workshop were eligible for Professional Growth Plan (PGP) credit from their respective school corporations. Join us for an informative session covering general grant writing tips and specific information on our Seeds for Excellence grant program. Learn from professional grant writers, past Seeds for Excellence recipients and members of our selection committee. Ask questions about our guidelines and find out how a rubric is used to evaluate each proposal. Network with other teachers and get feedback on your project ideas. The workshop is offered FREE of charge, and we will provide documentation that can be submitted for Professional Growth Plan credit with your school corporation. The next Grant Writing Workshop will be held in early June 2017. Check back after the first of the year for details.
