SUMMARY:2025 Cupcake Run for Public Ed!
DESCRIPTION:This race benefits the Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County.  Our mission is to promote excellence in education and encourage classroom innovation by providing grants in academics and the arts to teachers in the public schools in Tippecanoe County. \nWe are thrilled to share that Mary Lou Donuts\, a community staple since 1961\, will be our cupcake sponsor! We’re very excited to start building new race traditions with this long-time local favorite. \nPlease note that inventory for medals and race shirts is set in August\, so register by then to guarantee your receipt. \nNew this year: TEAMS\nWe encourage participants to form a team and appoint a team captain who will name and register the team and share the team name with other participants. As a way to give back to schools and promote a healthy community\, every team associated with a school will receive a $100 mini grant for each ten members on their team. The mini grants will be used to purchase recess and P.E. equipment. This new opportunity is made possible with the generous support of former PSFTC board members Mrs. Andrea Kuipers and Vic and Grayce Lechtenberg. \nDONATION MATCH: Back this year is a generous donation from the Prochnau Family Charitable Trust. Donations made on the registration site are matched 1:1 up to $2\,025. We hope you’ll consider adding on a donation when you register. SUMMARY:Free Supplies for your Classroom / Donut Dash Drawing
DESCRIPTION:PSFTC and the West Lafayette Schools Education Foundation are partnering with Teachers’ Treasures to help get Tippecanoe County teachers classroom supplies. We are providing thirty complimentary registrations to the 2026 Circle City Donut Dash – 10 for LSC teachers\, 10 for TSC teachers  and 10 for WLCSC teachers. Each teacher participating will receive a shopping voucher for a trip to the Teachers’ Treasures store in Indianapolis\, where you can walk away with up to $500 worth of classroom supplies. That’s right – get registered for FREE and receive $500 WORTH OF SUPPLIES!  \nThe Donut Dash takes place on Sat March 21\, 2026 at the Fowling Warehouse\, 1125 E Brookside Avenue in Indianapolis. This is not your ordinary 5k and there are several options for participation. You can choose to do the donut challenge (consuming donut holes is involved)\, the non-donut challenge\, and you can even participate virtually (choose your own date and route). Participation options include a 10k\, 5k and Kids Run plus lots of volunteer positions. There’s something for everyone! \nColor scheme: Race veterans know we launch a new color scheme each year. This year\, there are two featured colors and you can choose which color you want for your shirt. Are you a “heather indigo” or a “heather oatmeal” type of person? You can preview the shirt color choices when you register. All volunteers will receive a “heather cardinal” shirt. \nLast year we launched TEAMS as a way to give back to schools and promote a healthy community.
