SUMMARY:Cupcake Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Registration is open.\nSign up today. \nJoin us on September 22 for the fourth annual Cupcake Run/Walk in West Lafayette.  This will be a chip-timed 5K and 10K on a beautiful course.  We will also be offering a short\, untimed kids run of about 80 yards.  Each participant will receive a t-shirt\, participant medal and cupcake from Gigi’s.  This race benefits the Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County.  Our mission is to promote excellence in education and encourage classroom innovation by providing grants in academics and the arts to teachers in the public schools in Tippecanoe County. \n\nRETURNING PARTICIPANTS: please note that due to scheduled construction projects at Cumberland Park\, the route has been slightly modified from previous years. \nNEW IN 2019: Our race colors this year are black\, pink\, and white.  The participant t-shirt will be black with a pink and white logo.  Want to upgrade to a unisex tech shirt?  That option is available for a $10 fee.  Want to personalize your bib?  You can\, for no additional fee. \nSCHOOL PARTICIPATION CONTEST:  If you are a teacher\, student\, or school employee\, please indicate as such on your registration\, as well as what school you represent. The school with the most participants will receive a traveling trophy.  Help out your school and get as many friends/coworkers to participate and win that trophy.  Are you a teacher?  The fastest male teacher and the fastest female teacher will each receive a special award. \nPACKET PICKUP: Saturday Sept 21 from 2:00 – 7:00 pm at Gigi’s Cupcakes.  170 S Creasy Ln Ste 1710\, Lafayette\, IN 47905. \nPACKET PICKUP: Sunday Sept 22 will open at 8:00 am at Cumberland Park.
