Adaptive Equipment for Physical Education November 2018

Requirements toward earning a high school diploma have changed. Students with physical limitations are now required to take General Education PE. Credits earned from Adaptive PE are no longer recognized toward a diploma. While PE teachers are making modifications for students, resources and equipment are limited. Our staff has prioritized our adaptive equipment needs to ensure all students feel welcomed and engaged in regular physical activities. We purchased Park and Sun Tierdrop Two-Hoop Basketball Goals, Velcro Catch Sets, Special Needs Tricycles, Softee Hockey Sticks, Slow Motion Soccer Balls and several additional materials.
