Micro Bit Magic November 2024

The funding was used to purchase classroom sets of micro bit computers so that students in groups of two can learn how to code and program. Students will also use these micro computers with already existing technology called breadboards. Students will be able to design/program small games like rock/scissors/paper to more complex ideas that control different LEDs by pressure sensitive switches. We will be spending lots of time using these computers in the classroom. Students will learn about series and parallel circuits, inputs and outputs on a computer, programing, and the use of different components like resistors and transistors. By the end of the project, students should be able to develop their own programing and have the micro bits do what they want.
