2019 Updates:
Due to construction of the new recreation center at Cumberland Park, we’ve had to alter our course slightly for this year, but we are thrilled to be able to stay at the park and have almost all of our walk/run take place on the trail system. We hope to offer a separate 10k course in 2020, but for this year, the 10k participants will once again loop the 5k route.
We will again offer the Virtual Runner option.Duke Energy will match any “Donate to Grants” contribution received during registration, up to $1,500.
New this year: you can upgrade your shirt to a dri fit option. Participant shirts are black. Volunteer shirts are light pink.
And, of course, everyone registering will receive a Gigi’s cupcake (unless you opt out when signing up) and a super cool finisher’s medal.
