The Student Spark Grant program is a brand new opportunity available for K-12 student clubs. 2026 applications will be accepted August 10-September 10. Awards will be made by October 1, 2026. Individual applications may request up to $300.

60-90 second video submission

Optional video submission information:

Applicants may submit a 60-90 second video introducing their project. The video should help reviewers better understand the club’s idea or project, why it is important, how the grant funding will make a difference, and the enthusiasm and involvement of student members. It is intended to provide additional context and allow reviewers to hear directly from students. Be sure to state your club name and school at the beginning of the video.

Applicants submitting a video are required to complete this form as well.

Video specifications:

Length: 60-90 seconds
Format: MP4, MOV or MPEG
Orientation: landscape or portrait accepted
Resolution: 720p or 1080p recommended
Audio: clear and easy to understand
Editing: simple editing is fine – professional production is not expected. A phone recording is perfectly acceptable. The video is optional and will not be judged on production quality.

The video file or a link to the file (stored on Google Drive, YouTube, etc.) should be sent to [email protected].

To share your video, please email it as an attachment to [email protected]. If your video file is too large to attach, your email provider may automatically create a sharing link.

The Foundation uses Google Drive to manage large video files. You may also upload your video to a file-sharing platform of your choice (such as Google Drive or YouTube) and email the sharing link to [email protected].
